Our scouts consist of youth ages 11-17 from Gilford and surrounding areas. Our troop is lucky to have many leaders and volunteers (many Eagle scouts) who continue to give their time and experiences even after their son(s) have aged out of the troop. We are chartered under the Gilford Community Church.

The cost for 2024 is $172 per scout. Upon registering through Be-A-Scout, you'll most likely pay a portion of this for 2024 (it's broken down by month) and will include an option to subscribe to the scout magazine, Scouts Life, which is an additional $25 per year.

Class A uniforms are required, and they are available for purchase online, or in-person at Piche's in Gilford or the Scout Shop in Manchester, NH. We often have extras in our closet at the church so if your son joins, let's check the closet before you purchase anything. Scouts require our troop numbers and a few other patches, but we can help you get started. Class B uniforms are t-shirts used for 'dress down' occasions. All new registered scouts receive a free class B uniform shirt.
